The philosophy of 1921 embraces the use of sustainable practices whenever possible as we source ingredients. The restaurant works with local farms and purveyors within Mount Dora and the surrounding area, striving to maintain an allegiance to the local growers, producers and food artisans of Florida.

Much like the finely curated works of art in the Modernism Museum Collection, the “1921 Mount Dora Cellar Selections” have been meticulously curated and held, often for decades. Ideal conditions have been maintained in terms of provenance, temperature & humidity. As art is meant to be enjoyed, our philosophy on great wine is that it is meant to be enjoyed with great food & great friends.
In addition to our regular menu, each week our Chefs prepare a family-style Sunday Supper menu. There are always featured wine pairings and a Sunday dessert!
